As an LGBTQ+ youth supporting organization, GLSEN’s FYE campaign doubles as a Pride month campaign and celebration. With the social upheaval of recent years, we’ve looked to balance the joy of Pride messaging with an appeal for donors to understand how important the organization’s vital services remain.
After discussing with the team, the client asked me to write a lift note from my perspective as a parent of young children who wants to increase equity and inclusion. This project is very personal to me, and although I used a pseudonym, I’m proud to have truly used my voice in the campaign.
